Well, I could rave about this family a long time. I've known this guy for pretty much his whole life, or rather I would say the first 15 years of his life... this is, until I left home, and left him there to still grow up into the really great husband and dad and friend that he is.
It wasn't long after I left home that he met this sweet girl, fell in love with her... and determined he'd marry her one day. And he did. Man, am I glad. She's awesome.
They had their first little girl a few years back and now she's four going on about ten. She's a sweetpea.
 
Then like hardly before their first one was born, they got preggo with #2 girl. (okay, maybe it wasn't that soon, but yeah, really soon  )
One thing I really love about these gals is that they have personality. And tons of energy! tons.
My sister-in-law opted for a more urban look this year since they did pretty farm grasses last year. Despite the cold front that moved in WHILE we were setting up for the shoot, despite the wind, and then suddenly NO natural LIGHT (goodness it went so fast!) it was so fun taking their portraits and being with them. They were great sports.
The alley way protected us from the weather that was moving in - and I was so glad she had them dressed warmly because it went from bright sunshine and warmth to windy and cold in minutes.
